New traditions

Growing up, we had several traditions centered around the holidays that made them so memorable and exciting for us! Lately, we have talked about how fun it will be to pass those on to our kids and even start a few new ones. So in the spirit of traditions, we decided to head to a local orchard last weekend to enjoy a hayride, see some animals, buy some locally grown apples and enjoy some yummy food. Unfortunately, the hayrides were not running due to all the rain and snow we've had but the animals were out, the apples were on sale and the food was indeed yummy! Robin, Kyle, Miles and Jess (Robin and Kyle's sister-in-law) met Josiah and I at Northwoods Orchard and even though it was QUITE a brisk and windy morning, fun was had by all. Well, Josiah had fun for about 5 minutes before he decided that the best way to view all the Orchard fun was from his stroller all bundled up! Thanks to Auntie Robin, the morning was well documented by photos, here are a few:
Cousin Miles was willing to share the driver seat of the old tractor...for about 3 seconds and then he politely said "Off" with a gentle push to indicate Josiah's time was over:-)
The best we could do...getting a 4 month old and and 17 month old to pose and smile for a picture is next to impossible!
The best shot of Josiah from the day, he thought all the pumpkins were great!
