Most of you already know that he had a bit of a rough start. Minutes after he was born he was whisked away to another room for further evaluation by the NICU team because his oxygen levels were not coming up as they should have. They also discovered a heart murmur and initially planned to take him by ambulance across town to the NICU. Thankfully their initial diagnosis of a severe heart defect was wrong and after 3 days in the Level 2 Nursery, lots of testing and LOTS of prayers it was determined that he is perfectly healthy, just a slow starter:-) We are SO grateful for all the prayers and well wishes for our family and our precious little guy during that very difficult time! Thank you thank you thank you!!! Now on to happier things...pictures of our little Eli!
