Great Room Shift Update

I posted awhile back about how we had started the Great Room shift to get ready for the baby. At that time we had made minimal progress but progress nonetheless! Anyway, we had a HUGE leap forward a few weeks ago when my ever-so-helpful mom and sister came over and we emptied out the old office (now nursery) and organized some things in the new office/guest room with the rest migrating downstairs to storage. After that, all that was left was to paint the nursery and move the baby furniture in. And I'm MORE than excited to say that it happened last night!! Once again, my sister came through and brought over a few helpers too! Miles was site supervisor (he kept tabs on us all from the pack-n-play-see pic below) and Kyle was co-furniture mover with Seth. Seth also did his part in the painting (also see pic below) by rolling while Robin and "cut in". The whole thing took about 7 hours with 2 coats of paint, a dinner/American Idol break and finally furniture rearranging (and rearranging and rearranging again...sorry boys!) but it's done!! A BIG thanks to the Kroening family for their help, we could NOT have done it without you!! DISCLAIMER: Yes, Miles is in the room where we were painting but it was well ventilated and he was not in there for very long!
Miles was our Supervisor...laying down on the job but he's only 9 months old so we let it slide:-)
Robin and I cutting in Seth was master paint roller
All finished! Thank you Uncle Marc and Auntie Jen for the beautiful baby bedding set!!
Can't wait for baby to get here so we can try out the rocker:-)

It looks beautiful and you guys did a great job. Sorry I didn't pitch in but the organizing is more my "cup of tea"!
Now it feels like it's almost time for Baby "F" to arrive. BUT I suppose we will have to be patient!

Bravo, team Friedt! Love the paint color. The rocker looks cozy enough to take a 2 a.m. nap in - perfect!
